For two seasons, The Next Great Chef pitted 10 young chefs from across Canada in fierce head-to-head battles to find out who would be Canada's Next Great Chef. For the second season, Aurora updated the opening sequence and bumpers and created new graphics to illustrate the format of the competition. This proved to be particularly challenging given the Round Robin structure that included a wild-card from each previous round.
